January 2002
As snow buries the police car show grounds of the Okrafest in South Carolina,
copcar dot com takes you to the subtropical haven of Port Orange, Florida for a
look at how the other side lives. We salute the fine men and women of POPD
who have to contend with one of this hobby's biggest pains.
copcar
dot com presents: "Marko's
Gang"

Port Orange citizens enjoy a beautiful site
as they drive past their local police station in their retired cabs.
Through these doors have walked the most infamous whiners that Florida has ever
known.
The striking orange and blue graphics of
the Port Orange PD sets these vehicles apart from local wannabe's impersonating
the Connecticut State Police.
When things get rough in the Port, the
supervisor is called in to handle things, driving this Expedition.
Ready to respond to any crime scene, real
or imaginary, the mobile lab. (A
special note from SPJ: "You guys seen my hat?")
Of course, Port Orange braces itself for
the day when some wayward citizen pops his cork and falls off the deep
end.
And finally, the car that every Port Orange
citizen with an imaginary background wants to drive: The Volunteer.
Happy New Year: May this
year be BP FREE!
