June
2005
| Alright, truth be
known, The Committee has quit. It's now nearly August but
here's June anyway. I'm trying to lure The Committee back
but so far, their demands are just too high for the shoddy job
they do. |

presents: Roaring 20s
in Jersey

| The 1925 fleet of the
New Jersey State Police: Model Ts, Horses and motors.
Nothing like a day at the lake, directing traffic. |

| Or maybe, they were
just gathering for a picnic. |

| Now does this guy
look happy? You bet. And you should be too. Be
thankful you don't have to ride one of these things over gravel
roads for 12 hours a day. Be thanful you don't have to
wear breeches like this. And be thankful that a copcar of
the month actually got done. And save the speech
"what's with all the motorcycles, this is copcar dot
com?". Chalk this month up to yet another cheap shot
to "git er done". |

| Okay, this may be
from the 1930s but without the fine research skills of The
Committee, I'm lost. Look at these kids faces. They
look like they actually like the PohLeece. Oh, what
happened to the youth of America? |

| Okay, this is
actually from 1932. But I am not going to go back and
change the title. Feel lucky that you got June copcar of
the month anyway and let it go at that. |
Thanks to
contributor John Kafka for letting me dip into his collection of New
Jersey State Police photos. |
